Jenny began her artistic career as a small girl when, having no other paper, she would draw on the blank flyleaves in her storybooks.
After attending Wimbledon School of Art, she started working as a freelance commercial illustrator, and has never looked back.
She has illustrated upwards of 150 books for children, working for a broad spectrum of major publishing houses, both in the US and UK. She has been nominated for the Greenaway Award.
Jenny has worked on numerous and varied educational programs; and she also loves drawing portraits-in fact she thoroughly enjoys variety
A Londoner by birth, Jenny migrated deep into the heart of the countryside of South Wales, where she raised her family. She has found, both in her children, and the beautiful countryside where she lives, a great source of inspiration for her work. |
