Ed Shems has loved to draw since he was given his first crayon. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, he has been freelance illustrating since 1991 and has created work for book publishers, magazines, marketing companies, universities, museums and many commercial clients.
Ed also travels to elementary schools and teaches confidence-building and visual literacy to young artists and is currently working on a few of his own fun projects. Ed lives in Boston, just down the street from Fenway Park, with his lovely wife, Bree.
