Gillian's first calling was to the field of nursing where she worked in Intensive Care for many years. A self taught artist, Gillian worked as a freelance artist for 18 years producing many fine greeting cards while she raised her two children. In the last 5 years she has added children's book illustration to her list of skills.
Her work can be seen in the lists of many fine UK publishing houses such as University of Aberystwyth, Gomer Press, Gwasg Carreg Gwalch, Parragon Press and Small World Publications. She has created designs for card companies that include: American Greetings, Card Connection, Renaissance (USA), Hambledon Studios, Gibson Hanson Graphics, Regent and Noel Tatt.
Gillian lives just outside Cardiff with her husband, son and daughter.
