Susan has loved to draw since early childhood. Using her favorite medium of pen and ink, she relishes drawing all manner of whimsical creatures - frogs, chickens, lions, alligators...and the occasional human.
She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. A freelance artist since 1983, she has illustrated for magazines, children's books, advertising, greeting cards, and toy packaging.

Susan lives in Connecticut with her husband, two sons, and her dog Kody.
