Marilee has been a freelance illustrator for over 25 years, working traditionally in pencil, ink and watercolor. She has illustrated everything from kid's magazines and picture books to giftware packaging and greeting cards.
Some of her clients in publishing have included Highlights, Scholastic and Houghton Mifflin. Currently working on writing and illustrating some picture books of her own, she lives near Chicago with her husband, two college-age children, a parakeet, and her dog Eddie.
