Whimsical, lovable pets and children are the hallmarks of Shelley Dieterichs’ endearing children’s illustrations. Shelley’s playful children and lovable animals appear on all her Good Buddy Notes stationery products. “I always knew I wanted to be an artist.... I was always drawing and I particularly loved certain children’s book illustrations and I guess the interest in children’s publishing and products grew from that”.
Shelley received a B.F.A. degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She lives in St. Louis with her husband and cats Fred, Ethel and Gracie, who give her lots of inspiration and provide plenty of subject matter for her work.
