Originally from Los Angeles, Lee is now located in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. His work has been strongly influenced by the people, color, music and folklore of the country as well as his 2 dogs, Rudy Rojo and Pinta la Vaca.
Lee's whimsical and wonderful artwork can be found at the Puerco Azul Gallery run by Lee and his wife Nancy. His work can also be found on many licensed products at Pier 1, Aaron Bros., JC Penny, Kohl's and Ross. His work is represented in many collections both in Mexico and the United States.
He has illustrated many children's books, some co-written with his wife Nancy, for clients such as Penguin Group (USA), Marshal Cavendish and Sterling Publishing. He has also created children's materials for companies such as Leapfrog, Scholastic and Tyndale House. |
